Since Sophie has arrived we have been very fortunate to have lots of visitors from Seattle, I would like to think that they are coming up to see Sean and I but I know the real truth it is all about Sophie. And really how can you resist coming to see this little girl, she is too cute.
My mom has already been up twice to visit us, once when Sophie was born and again the following weekend with my dad for our baby shower. I think if my mom had her way she would be up here all the time, but work always gets in the way.
My little sister and her husband came up when Sophie was born but unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of them with her because she was still in the NICU at that time. Thankfully we are going to Seattle next weekend so we should be able to get lots of pictures of them with her.
My aunt came up a few weeks ago to see Sophie but to also celebrate my birthday. It was great having her up here for the day even if it was a quick visit.
Our most recent visitors were my older sister and her two boys. Because Sophie came so early my sister didn’t have her enhanced drivers license in time to come up for the birth. I was so happy that she was able to come up for the day to meet her first niece. Finley was so funny with Sophie, he wanted to hold her but then once I put her in his arms he was ready to be done. If you can’t tell from the picture below he was done holding her, he kept repeating that he thought his mom wanted to hold her now. It was very cute.
I just love having family come up to visit and I look forward to many more visitors in the future. Now that we have Sophie it is going to be much easier to convince them to make the drive up to see us.
