Recently we decided to get Sophie a baby doll, so we headed to Toys R Us to see if we could find a soft baby. We found one we both really like and it came in pink and purple so we thought we would see which one she preferred.
We put both in the cart with her and she spent the rest of the trip loving on both of them. So we did what any normal parent would do, we bought them both :) We did have buyers remorse as we were walking out, but she has proved to love them both equally, so it all worked out in the end.
Her babies are Pinky and Purples, creative names I know. I figure these will be the names until she decides to name them herself.
She is very cute with her dolls, she feeds them and gives them her sippy cups and bottles. This is how I found her this afternoon.
She was enjoying some time in a plastic tub giving her baby doll some tea.
This evolved into a game where she would sit in the tub and I would pull her around the apartment. If it was up to her I would have to pull her around all day. I managed to make it a few passes up and down the hall before I had to take a break because it is a killer on your back. But she loves it so much you just want to keep doing it.
Hopefully she is just as good with her little brother or sister when he/she arrives this summer.
