Maybe I shouldn’t complain too much because I never got morning sickness so if headaches were the worst of it I faired pretty well.

I still get the occasional headache but to be honest I think they are really gone, YIPPEE!! Here’s hoping that they don’t return with a vengeance tomorrow just to spite me.

Oh how I love you peppermint tea!

I have mentioned before that I am very fortunate to pretty much have no pregnancy symptoms. In the beginning that made me a crazy person but now I am loving the fact that I can pretty much go about my daily life unaffected physically by Carlos growing inside me.

I have not gotten through the last 9 Weeks and 5 Days completely scott free, I have been having headaches. For awhile I thought it was because I made the final push and cut caffeine out of my diet completely, but when they were still going on 4 weeks later I realized that maybe it was something else.

After talking to our midwife about it she suggested some natural alternatives to Tylenol I can try first. I was happy to see massage on the list, so I just might need to get some massages, you know for medical reasons. The one thing that seemed like an easy fix was peppermint tea. I like tea and it can’t hurt to try it.

Oh how I love you peppermint tea!

Within less than 10 minutes of drinking it I could already feel my headache going away. Who would have thought that something as easy as tea could help relieve the daily headaches I have been having for close to 5 weeks. Our midwife Beth deserves a big round of applause for such a great suggestion. I recommend this to anyone who is having pregnancy related headaches.
